Apple Cabbage Slaw Recipe

               
This crisp, vibrant, and ridiculously easy slaw makes a great burger-topper or BBQ side dish. With just six ingredients and 55 calories per serving, making this xx slaw is a no-brainer.

Recipe yields 12 servings
1/2 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
3 Tbsp lime juice
1/8 tsp black pepper
2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into thin strips
1 small red cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Directions
Step 1

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons lime juice and black pepper until blended well. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large bowl, toss apples with remaining 1 tablespoon lime juice. Add cabbage, cilantro and mayonnaise mixture and toss well to combine. Chill for at least 1 hour, covered.
