Gluten Free Strawberry Lime Punch Recipe

Refreshing and light, this strawberry citrus punch will brighten up any summer afternoon. This sweet strawberry drink recipe is a delicious alternative to sugary sodas, with bright notes of lime for major flavor impact.

Recipe yields 8 servings

4 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
8 mint sprigs
1/8 tsp salt
6 cups hulled strawberries
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
1/2 lime, sliced

Step 1

Combine water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add 2 mint sprigs and salt and let stand for 10 minutes.

Step 2

In a colander, strain syrup and transfer to a blender. Add 5 1/2 cups of the strawberries and process until smooth. Transfer to a pitcher.

Step 3

Slice the remaining 1/2 cup strawberries in half.

Step 4

Stir in the lime juice, remaining 1/2 cup halved strawberries and lime slices. Serve over ice, garnished with remaining mint sprigs.
