Gluten Free Sweet Potato French Fries Recipe

               
Skip the drive-thru and opt for crisp, cheesy homemade sweet potato fries instead. With just 5 pantry-friendly ingredients, this heart-healthy fry recipe will win over even the pickiest of eaters. Bake at 450°F for a perfectly toasted bite.

Recipe yields 6 servings
3 medium sweet potatoes
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450°.

Step 2

Cut sweet potatoes, with skins on, into french fry style sticks.

Step 3

In a bowl, combine the potatoes, olive oil, black pepper and salt, tossing to coat all sweet potato fries evenly.

Step 4

Place cooling rack on top of baking sheet. Arrange fries in a single layer on top of cooling rack. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Step 5

Bake for 40 minutes, or until slightly browned and crisp. Garnish with parsley, if using, and serve immediately.
