Healthy Kids Almond Muesli Recipe

               
Tired of breakfast from a box? Homemade almond muesli is the granola-like breakfast recipe that will make your morning routine more efficient, delicious, and fiber-rich.

Recipe yields 6 servings
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup whole raw almonds, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp honey
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and grated
2 cups water

Directions
Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until muesli reaches desired consistency. After 1 hour, if consistency is too thick, add additional water.

Step 2

Muesli will keep for up to 1 week, covered and refrigerated.
