Healthy Kids Rich Chocolate Pie Recipe

               
This decadent chocolate pie is made with silken tofu, cocoa powder, and tart fresh raspberries. A pre-made graham cracker crust helps to cut down on time in this rich, flourless, and heart-boosting recipe.

Recipe yields 8 servings
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 block (10 oz) soft tofu, drained
4 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup chocolate soy milk
1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
2 Tbsp slivered almonds

Directions
Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°. In a blender, combine vanilla, tofu, cocoa and sugar. Gradually stir in chocolate soy milk. Blend all ingredients thoroughly. Pour mixture into graham cracker crust. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until top appears solid.

Step 2

Chill pie in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours before serving.

Step 3

Serve topped with fresh raspberries and slivered almonds.
