Large jewel-like figs, sliced bananas, and pomegranate seeds are swirled into this almond milk and berry-based smoothie bowl. Heart-healthy chia seeds add an irresistible crunch.
Recipe yields 2 servings
1 small sliced banana, frozen
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
1 fresh large fig, sliced
In a blender, combine the banana, berries and almond milk. Purée until thoroughly combined and smooth.
Divide the mixture between 2 bowls and top with fig slices, banana slices, pomegranate seeds and chia seeds.
