Whole-wheat tortillas sandwich thinly sliced bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate in this sweet, healthy snack. Quick and decadently creamy, the whole family will love these unique treats.
Recipe yields 4 servings
Spread peanut butter on 2 tortillas. Arrange banana slices over the peanut butter, dividing them equally among the 2 tortillas. Mash bananas lightly with a fork. Evenly sprinkle chocolate chips over the bananas. Place remaining 2 tortillas on top of tortillas with peanut/banana spread.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Place 1 tortilla sandwich in skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden and the chocolate is melted. Repeat with remaining tortilla sandwich. Let cool for 1 minute, and slice each tortilla sandwich into 6 wedges. Dust with confectioners sugar, if desired.
