If you prefer to cook your fries in the oven, it’s easy enough to do this. Just prepare the fries for cooking and then arrange them on a cooling rack on top of a baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes at 450°F. Here’s the full recipe for Healthy Sweet Potato French Fries in the oven.
Recipe yields 6 servings
Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Lightly grease air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.
Cut sweet potatoes into french fry style sticks.
In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, black pepper and salt. Add the sweet potatoes and toss to coat evenly.
Add the sweet potatoes to the prepared air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes, until lightly browned and crisp, giving them a toss halfway through the cook time.
Transfer to a serving platter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
