Gluten Free Black Bean Fudge Brownies Recipe

               
These black bean brownies are a luscious gluten-free dessert that everyone will love. No one will ever guess the secret ingredient that makes these fudge brownies extra decadent is actually black beans.

Recipe yields 12 servings
1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup quick oats (gluten free if needed)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup pure maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup coconut or vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions
Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly coat an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a food processor, combine all ingredients except the chocolate chips and blend until completely smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Step 3

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes.

Step 4

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Do not cut brownies until completely cooled.
