Healthy Kids Pink Lemonade Recipe

               
Skip the store bought stuff and go for a fresh-squeezed flavor that lasts. Try this easy grape lemonade recipe and experience a delightful tartness that will wow at a garden luncheon or as a grab-and-go sip.

Recipe yields 12 servings
6 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
3 lemon peel strips
1 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 6 lemons)
2 Tbsp grape juice
Lemon slices, for garnish
Raspberries, for garnish (optional)

Step 1

In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups water, sugar and lemon peel to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Remove from the heat. Discard lemon peel. In a large pitcher, combine the remaining 4 cups of water, lemon juice, grape juice and sugar mixture.

Step 3

Cool lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and raspberries, if desired.
