Healthy Kids Reindeer Snacks Recipe

               
A super easy holiday-themed snack made with wheat bread, peanut butter and chocolate candies. Little ones will love the sweet, creamy bite without getting loaded with sugar.

Recipe yields 4 servings
8 slices whole wheat bread
4 Tbsp peanut butter
8 unsalted mini pretzels
8 plain m&m's®
4 peanut m&m's®

Directions
Step 1

With a 4-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out a heart shape from the center of each slice of bread.

Step 2

Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on each of 4 hearts. On the 4 hearts with peanut butter, arrange 2 pretzels sticking off the top of each heart to look like antlers.

Step 3

Top each heart with a plain heart to make heart sandwiches.

Step 4

Top each sandwich with 2 plain M&M’s for the “eyes” and 1 peanut M&M for the “nose.”
