Gluten Free Banana Ghosts Recipe

               
Enjoy a frightfully delicious snack this Halloween season with our delicious Banana Ghosts! With just three healthy ingredients, you will be able to conjure these spooky treats up in no time to feed all your ravenous monsters.

Recipe yields 2 servings
2 ripe bananas, peeled and halved widthwise
1 Tbsp dark chocolate chips
1/4 tsp olive oil

Directions
Step 1

Peel bananas and discard the peel. Remove and discard any remaining strings from the outside of the bananas and cut the bananas in half widthwise.

Step 2

In a small microwave-safe dish, combine the chocolate chips and olive oil. Microwave for 15-second increments, stirring after each cycle, until smooth and melted. Carefully pour the melted chocolate into a small zip-top bag or pastry bag. Cut a very small corner off of the bag and pipe 2 “eyes” and 1 “mouth” onto each “ghost” below the pointed ends of the bananas. Allow the chocolate to set for at least 5 minutes before serving.
