Ready in just 10 minutes, this boldly flavored hummus is quickly going to become one of your favorite healthy dips and spreads. Toasted sesame oil, freshly minced ginger and a hint of cayenne pepper will wake up your taste buds while earthy turmeric powder infuses this hummus with a pop of golden color.
Add the chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, tahini, ginger, lemon zest, turmeric, cayenne pepper (if using), black pepper and salt to a blender or food processor; blend on high until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
Add the sesame oil and water and blend until creamy and smooth. Transfer to a small serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
