You can make this healthy low calorie cheese quesadilla recipe with just 4 ingredients in minutes. This is a heart healthy quesadilla recipe with only 2 grams of saturated fat because we use reduced fat cheese. That makes it a quick low cholesterol recipe perfect for people following a low fat diet or a diabetic diet. Kids love these cheezy quesadillas, too!
Recipe yields 4 servings
In a skillet, melt 1 teaspoon of the butter over medium heat. Place 1 tortilla in skillet and top with 1/4 cup cheese. Top with second tortilla. Grill 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until golden and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining butter, tortillas and cheese. Cut into quarters and serve with salsa.
