Heart Healthy Rosemary Chicken Dijon Recipe

               
All you need are 6 ingredients to make this fragrant, saucy chicken breast dish. Succulent chicken is cooked in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and garlic to create a meal that is good for your heart and even better for your recipe book.

2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried rosemary or 4 fresh rosemary sprigs
Black pepper to taste
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 oz each)

Step 1

In a shallow dish, combine all ingredients except the chicken. Add chicken, turning to coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour in refrigerator, or 20 minutes at room temperature.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 375°.

Step 3

Cover and bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until cooked through.
