How to Make Ginger Brown Rice

  1. Lightly coat a saucepan with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened. Add the rice and sauté for 1 minute. Add lime zest and ginger and cook for 1 minute more. Add broth and bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 30 to 45 minutes, or until rice is tender. Season with black pepper to taste.
