Heart Healthy Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe
This thick and decadently creamy peanut butter smoothie ensures a delicious on-the-go breakfast. Each heart-healthy sip is made from skim milk, bananas, honey and protein-rich peanut butter.
Ingredients
Recipe yields 2 servings
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup crushed ice
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp peanut butter
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
2 frozen medium bananas, sliced
1 cup low fat plain Greek yogurt
Directions
Step 1
In a blender, combine milk, ice, honey, peanut butter, nutmeg and bananas and process for 2 minutes, or until smooth. Add yogurt and process until blended.
